Saturday, March 16, 2013– Performathon 2013 – 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Hundreds of CVSM students are featured in hours of continuous performances at Thomson Chapel, Wilson College, Chambersburg, PA. Students will be performing alone as well as in various ensembles and groups. FREE.

Eyer has great facility and imagination at the keyboard. A first class
showman, Bob has played many well-known organs including the Oakland Paramount,
San Francisco Fox, Radio City Music Hall and Atlantic City Convention Hall.Corey
Evan Rotz has a powerful, yet warm and expressive voice. He is a joy to hear
and exciting to watch. Corey has sung at the Kennedy Center, the White House, in
Los Angeles, Tokyo and throughout Europe. The combination of these world-class
talents—both from Chambersburg—in one program, is a unique opportunity.

The Music
of Candice Mowbray-
As you arrive, beautiful
piano music played by Valerie Merriman will fill the Spring air. The concert features
classical guitarist, Candice Mowbray. Praised for her“beautiful tone”and
“sensitive music-making,” Candice is in demand as a soloist and a chamber
musician. She has been invited to perform for esteemed festivals and events
including the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Series, the Bethlehem Guitar
Festival and the Ibero-American Guitar Festival. She was profiled in Classical
Guitar Magazine’s Letter from New York, Maryland Public Television’s
Our Town documentary, and SU Today, and named one of the ‘Top
Five People to Watch’ by Hagerstown

Sunday, April 21, 2013 – 3:00 PM – CVSM Awards Concert – Thomson Chapel, Wilson College. This concert will feature some of the best young musical talent in the area, including Merit Award Winners who recently competed in categories of voice, piano, and instrumental music as well as graduating seniors who are going on to pursue careers in the performing arts. FREE.
Monday, May 27, 2013 – 7:30 PM – Memorial Day Patriotic Concert featuring the CVSM Community Symphonic Band – under the direction of Tim Gotwald – Chambersburg Memorial Park Bandshell. This concert will feature a program of patriotic music and concert music. (Based on a limited time commitment, the band performs twice a year and rehearses several weeks prior to each performance. If you play a wind, brass, or percussion instrument and would like to be a part of our band) Participation in the band and attendance at the concert are both FREE.
Saturday, June 1, 2013 – 4:00 –7:00 PM – CVSM Neighborhood Chef’s Walk – Alexander Avenue in Chambersburg is an attractive street with some very pretty homes built in the 1950s and 60s, but it is the unique mix of people who lives there that make it special . There are several performing musicians, local politicians, restaurateurs, several longtime patrons of the arts, and chefs! The chefs will prepare a Culinary Booth along the street. Musicale attendees can stroll the street and sample each of their menus. This promises to be a unique and exciting experience with great food and excellent music. Admission includes refreshments. Advance reservations required. $50 per person before April 30th. $60 if purchased May 1 or after.
CVSM Student Recitals are to be held at Thomson Alumnae Chapel, Wilson College on November 15, December 4, 6, 10, 13 and 17, May 6 and 16.. All recitals start at 7:00 PM. Admission is FREE.
